There are some pros to being an independent teen. Yeah, few of them, but rolling up to a date in your own car is one.

A mod to give all plantsims the ability to cast four of the witch spells:
– mellifera attackum (to attack other sims with bees)
– creatum insecto volucris (to summon butterflies/fireflies)
– beautificus locus (to make the weather nice and also summon butterflies/fireflies)
– corruptus locus (to start a thunderstorm and summon cockroaches)Plantsims can perform these spells even if they aren’t witches, lack sufficient skill in magic, or have the wrong alignment. Also, they won’t need reagents (although if they do happen to keep reagents in their inventory and you don’t have a no reagents mod, they might use them anyway – I didn’t test that).
It’s worth noting that if a sim attempts a spell outside their alignment, it takes longer and they have a bigger drop in motives (theoretically – I’ve never actually paid attention to the motive drop and for all I know it only affects motives that plantsims don’t have). Since non-witches default to getting treated like neutral witches and none of the spells I used are neutral this will affect your non-witch/neutral witch plantsims, but I found the difference was only really noticeable for good/evil witch plantsims casting spells of the opposite alignment. If others find this annoying I can try tuning it, but I’m fine with it in my own game.
Finally, this mod changes two of the same resources as creaturefixes, which make beautificus/corruptus locus fail if there’s a weather machine on the lot that’s been recently used. I’d already finished the mod before I realized this, so I ended up deciding to just offer both versions: the one labeled “cffriendly” incorporates creaturefixes’ weather-machine check. Just make sure whichever version of my mod you have loads last if you want your non-witch plantsims to not fail the locus spells all the time.
